Historic meets quirky. This client hails from London where an eclectic sensibility about history and design is "de rigueur". Her antebellum mansion, collections of artifacts from around the world, (old and new), library of early jazz albums, and cordon bleu chef skills makes this B&B a particularly special find.

The site was a challenge at first to reconcile the perceived disparity of historic and modern, formal and quirky, traditional and eclectic. But I quickly caught on to the joy and freedom of Mrs Garrett's style and I'm very proud of the results.
